Dyson Wash G1 - from blank sheet of paper to fully working prototype

I led a small but talented team of Engineers tasked with creating Dyson's first floor mopping product. We successfully generated ideas, rigs, tests, layouts and specifications, down selecting the design with James Dyson to enable us to create the final product concept for Wash G1. We were challenged to lead the build of a fully working rig in 12 weeks and we hit the tough deadline to send the product over to Malaysia for further development, tooling and testing. What is most satisfying is how closely the final design followed the initial concept layout. This product was the result of many talented Engineers, researchers and designers and shows how collaboration can deliver exceptional results.
